Genius in its simplicity, yet intriguing from all angles, the Noguchi table has become so emblematic of modern design that it's even the namesake of a Tumblr site (the irreverently titled F&@# Your Noguchi Coffee Table) that pokes fun at interior decorating tropes.
Joking aside, however you decide to style your Noguchi table — paired with complementary MCM pieces or in a mode traditional interior — it's likely to steal the show.

Isamu. The typos on this blog are horrendous.
I know this is completely irrelevant, but the light fixture in the final picture is stupendous.
Carry on.
Thanks Kayonyc, it's been corrected.
Any idea where the art hanging above the sofa is from? Images 1 and 2?
Conan has the same table on his set.
Does anyone know where the print is from in the first picture?
Ditto on the print from the first and second pics. I love them. Was thinking of doing something similar myself. Will have to rethink it now. :-(
@passportgirl @junekinlock @artsydesigny The artwork was made by taking a high resolution stock photo of a cross section of a tree and processing it several times over and then having it digitally printed. Inspiration came from the amazing Bryan Nash Gill prints made from actual wood cuts.
Does it drive anyone else crazy that nearly all these pics show the table set up incorrectly?! Of the two leg pieces of wood, the long piece that runs along the glass must go with the long side of the obtuse triangle that the glass creates. If we appreciate this masterpiece for its design prowess, shouldn't we set it up correctly. SMH. #RealNoguchiCoffeeTableOwner
