Chicago's Pilsen Arts District is getting a new green and vintage retailer, Modern Cooperative. Opened by Chicago design professionals Tiffany Paige and Mike Biersma, the new store will offer a mix of new and vintage wares.
Opening May 11th, Modern Cooperative will give local artists who use reclaimed and repurposed materials an opportunity to showcase and sell their pieces on a monthly basis. In addition to new pieces by local designers, Modern Co-op will also feature an assortment of curated, vintage furniture and home décor - with a focus on mid-century modern.
To kick off their grand opening, Modern Co-Op will host an opening celebration during Pilsen's Chicago Arts District's 2nd Fridays Art Walk on May 11th. For more information, visit Modern Co-Op.
