Modern Economy Sale in San Francisco this Saturday

Meg Mateo Ilasco's Modern Economy sales have become somewhat of a phenomenon, to say the least. Shoppers will be descending on Fort Mason Center on Saturday for this year's San Francisco sale (they're also held in LA, and this year for the first time, Portland) to snap up seconds, samples, and overstocks at heavily discounted prices from a long list independent designers that includes Dwell, Henry Road, Sara Paloma, Thomas Paul, and Perch.

The sale goes from 10:30am to 3pm, but we suggest getting there early for the best selection.

Some tips for this weekend's sale:
• Get there early. The lines get long, and to ensure the best selection you want to show up before the 10:30 start time
• Bring your credit card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are the only accepted payments
• Come prepared to wait in line - wear comfortable shoes
• Bring a shopping partner, waiting in line is infinitely more pleasant when you have some company.

For more information, including a full list of the designers who will be represented this weekend, go to the Modern Economy website.
