Originating in Germany in the mid-1800’s, garden gnomes quickly became popular all over the world for gardeners who valued their powers to protect and helpfulness in the garden. Oddly enough, these mythical little creatures, who traditionally don white beards and cone-shaped hats, are often the subject of controversies like the Garden Gnome Liberation Front, the traveling gnome prank, and even a banning from London’s prestigious Chelsea Flower Show.
The gnomes in this roundup, as stylish reinterpretations of the traditional bearded fellow, are well suited for the modern garden, but will definitely give your mischievous neighborhood high schoolers more of an incentive to steal from your lawn. I especially love the Baddy gnome, who comes in eight different colors (including glow in the dark!) and The Non Conformist, who seems to be giving the finger to those snobby British ladies who outlawed his brethren from the fancy flower show.

White Enamel Four-P...
I need to get the ones in #1 for my sister in law. She's always wanted one, and they would fit her style. :D
No prices for the ones in the first pic. Probably means they're expensive. :(
i do love the starck gnomes, but please be careful with the amount of gnomes in your home it is getting close to "put a bird on it'.
yeah, I saw the Plust ones, too. They're so cute but no price - which means I should back away and just admire from afar. I got mine from a kids store but it's available at Urban outfitters. I tried to jazz it up but ended up having a humpty dumpty tale:

I shrieked a little.
Not quite sure what the things in pictures #2 and #3 are, but they aren't gnomes.
The Baddy gnomes in picture #1 are cute.
I want a Baddy gnome so bad now! Any idea how to buy one from the States?
