There's a certain satisfaction gained from purchasing products you know will literally last a lifetime (and then some in this case). Knowing you'll never have to buy a replacement and your money went to an artisan who made you a quality product... it's just a great feeling. These modern metal bird feeders from Joe Papendick are just such an item!

There are some Etsy sellers that we wish had brick and mortar locations. I want to sing their praises from the rooftops and it can be difficult to understand how no one else knows about them. Today, I'm highlighting one such artist who blows me away with his craft.

Metal working is something I still can't DIY without the help of someone more knowledgeable, so Joe Papendick's creations are nothing short of a miracle in my book. His modern designs are sleek, chic and perfect for any home or big city balcony. They create shelter and shade for little and big birds alike while leaving enough air flow so the food that's placed in the feeder won't get soggy or rot.

Joe's bird feeders start around $65, and considering you won't ever have to replace it, that's pretty decent!
Here are a few of my favorites that are pictured above: You can check out his full Etsy store here.
