I recently realized that I was avoiding my desktop computer at any cost and using a laptop for everything: Web browsing, PhotoShop, the works. Instead of abandoning the desktop, I simply replaced the dated corded mouse with a wireless one. And you know what? I now look forward to using my desktop. The user experience is better and I can now take advantage of a faster, more robust machine without getting tripped up. Here are a few mice that don't suck, and look good to boot. There are literally hundreds of mice out there to choose from. Microsoft alone lists 35 on their Web page. Add that to the dozens of peripheral makers and it can be an overwhelming task to choose the perfect mouse. Well, here are a few of the best from a aesthetic and functionality standpoint. Our number one recommendation? Unless you're a hardcore gamer, get a wireless mouse. It looks better, cluttering your space and gives you more freedom of movement.
