Modern Quilts: Got Me in Stitches

We love the warmth and color that a hanging quilt brings to a room. With so many beautiful modern quilt designs available now, even those with more minimal tastes can enjoy quilts as wall décor. These simple, affordable throws from Got Me in Stitches are handmade by the two designers at their home in California. Ohdeedoh featured them as a great baby gift, and we think they'd make perfect wall hangings too...

While these are marketed as children's quilts, they could very easily decorate any room. In fact, the "baby quilt" size, at 36" by 45", would be perfect for hanging in a small space or over the bed (for those of us in earthquake-prone locales). Each quilt is also available in a larger "toddler" size, or as a 4' by 5' throw. We could even see using two of these (in the smallest size) to make a floor pillow for a family room.

To see all the available designs from Got Me in Stitches, check out Sarahrae's post on Ohdeedoh, or visit Fawn and Forest. "Baby size" quilts are $90.
