A suspended box shelf in the bedroom separates the sleeping area from a lounge and allows the guest to swivel the TV to face the sofa or bed. The box shelf is solid on one side, with open cubbies on the other for storage. In other layouts, wall shelving next to the bed supports a laptop station. True...BUT you can get a remote sensor that is tiny and separate, its made for people who hide the electronics behind doors, so the sensor is put at the very top of an armoire or whatever...

As for the remote, a mirror could also solve the problem. With fresh batteries in the remote, the white walls might even be reflective enough...

Love it. Why can't more hotels be like this, instead of the overwrought decorations that are found even in so-called 'contemporary' hotels?
