Ever notice when your child is into something, you start coming across lots of products, toys, games, books on that subject? Robots currently are a big source of interest and fascination at our house and we're using it as a way to add a few touches to the nursery. But it's a fine line between adding visual interest and going full-bore on a theme. We think something like this robot cabinet by Mogi would be just the right touch.
We like that the robot cabinet is simple, not overdone, and makes for good storage next to a crib/bed or playroom. The "arms" on the robot are adjustable and the cabinet comes in white and turquoise (although there is a picture of a pink one as well). We found it here, but it looks like it's temporarily out of stock. This looks like a fun DIY for Ohdeedoh readers with carpentry skills.

OMG, I love it! But I hate to think what it costs. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to make one. (For people with actual skills, unlike me!)
I could totally see ikea-hacking something like this for my little boy's room! What a brilliant idea!
Amen to both of the above comments - and this would be a wonderful DIY with cardboard & some paint.
