This was definitely a room on a budget! Her dresser, footstool and bookcase are all from IKEA, the chair came second-hand from a friend, and the crib we got from a closeout sale. The grey paint was left over from our living/dining room, and we got tester pots of the stripe colours to save money. Lastly, the mobile was made by me. I couldn't find anything that I liked, so I made one! I put together hot air balloons made out of heavy stock paper and a balsa wood picture frame painted sky blue with clouds.
We really love how everything turned out, and so does Molly!
Thanks, Aly and Sean!.

This is Molly's room! We planned on having a simple but colourful room. We also didn't want to spend a lot of money on the room, seeing as we had planned on buying her really nice "big girl" furniture when she gets a bit older.

Wow, that wall is amazing. That you pulled it off with tester pots...well, that's one of the best uses of them. Thank you for sharing this fun, colorful room!
A very happy room, I love it.
Whoa! What amazes me is how perfectly aligned the colors are. It looks so professional.
Love it!
