Name: Molly
Location: Northern New Jersey
This is our daughter Molly's nursery. We rent the "mother" section of an old "mother/daughter" farmhouse in Northern New Jersey. Molly's room is small so we tried to use the space we had to our and Molly's advantage. The two obstacles we faced were space and budget.
We found the rug at Goodwill and that is what set the tone for the room. We mulled over the colors for the nursery and finally went with a seafoam blue/green for the walls and pops of red.
The crib and dresser are from Ikea which fit into our budget. The rocker is a knock-off bought via eBay. The shelves were a garage sale find that we already had. The larger one was perfect to convert into a "closet" for all of Molly's dresses (the room has a closet that is currently jammed packed with our things).
We love vintage so we tried to incorporate as much vintage as we could!

Red is always ch'i-ful--nice job!
I like the color combo. Would've liked a shot of the window wall.
Lovely!
Beautiful! Cheerful! I love it! Two questions: 1) what is the paint color/brand of the sea foam blue/green wall paint? 2) where did you find that wonderful red bear print?
I really like how you were able to strike a balance between a nursery that is both cheerful and calming!
Thank you for sharing this pretty room! It's great to see such a beautiful room put together in a small space. You have great ideas that are very helpful and inspiring for those of us that also have small nursery spaces.
I love the colors! And the Blythe doll.
Absolutely love!!!! It's so refreshing to see a girl's nursery not in pink (even though I am a pink lovinggirl!!!). I was thinking about redesigning my daughters' bedroom in similar colors - you've given me great inspiration!
This is so sweet. I especially love the rug (what a great find!) and the bear print above the changing table.
Oh my goodness, we must be secretly related. We're almost done putting together the nursery for our first baby, due in April. It's this exact same color-scheme/vibe and her name will be Maggie (which narrowly beat out Molly)! So crazy how that happens!
Anyway, I obviously think that this is absolutely gorgeous! Great use of a small space! And I can't believe that awesome rug...
That rug is fabulous! Great job with the room.
