Wow. We love books that celebrate the playfulness of language. So we’re happy to toot the horn of Mom and Dad are Palindromes by Mark Shulman (illustrated by Adam McCauley) which recently came on our radar.

The book is the story of Bob, his pup Otto and their discovery of palindromes – words and phrases that are spelled the same forwards and backwards. We think your ‘lil tot will enjoy this lively look at language whether you read it at noon or in the eve. Oops, gotta run. Our favorite song, S.O.S. by Abba, is on the radio! Buy the book here ($16).
