Monsters aren't just under the bed anymore, they're on the bed, the walls, the table and more. And somehow monsters seem kinder and gentler these days as kids embrace them in play. We've put together some of our favorite monster decor and products - links after the jump.

I agree about the "kinder, gentler" monsters I LOVE monsters! I actually sell handmade plush monsters on Etsy, and do the occasional local craft show. At a craft show once, a lady perusing my table said "These shouldn't be called monsters! They're not scary. They're so cute and happy!" I thought it was funny, because the word "monster" makes me think of furry, cute creatures instead of scary ones. Thank you Sesame Street and Monsters Inc!
circo makes a very cute and colorful monster bedding set that reverses to stripes:

we got it for my lil guys first bed, gave him the choice of their robots bedding or the monsters and he ran towards this one! they also sell a small bean bag monster chair, and a couple monster book holders that match.
