Our thoughts usually turn to bicycles only in summer which is why, when we're looking for a bike, we look to the Dutch for whom riding bikes is year-round activity. So it shouldn't come as any surprise that they've found a way to make a bicycle greener. Welcome to the Moof...

Designed from lightweight aluminum, the Moof has a highly advanced solar powered LED light system built inside its stylized frame, one in the front and one in the back. To turn on the lights, simply wipe the keychain over the frame. Like magic, the light will start flashing (kinda like the bike version of the Prius!). A rear coaster brake makes the bike ideal for city riding (no more loose hanging cables to get tangled in things). This is a simple, sturdy, old-school style bike with modern cool. For more information, click here. We found the bike on Greenandmore, a great resource for an array of green products. By the way, given its high style, it's a lot less pricey than other modern bikes we've had our eye on.
