Last week, I posted The New Industrial: Designs With Contempory Color & Finishes in response to the lastest trend for bright and shiny industrial-inspired designs. As often is the case, once a trend is loosely defined, you can't help but notice it more and more — here are 5 more examples of the New Industrial:
• 1 Contemporist | Chairs by Gudmund Bladh — chunky industrial chairs designed and built by an architectural student at Lund University in Sweden.
• 2 FRAME Bench by Fagerstrom & Abrahamsson — the design duo of Kristoffer Fagerström and Marcus Abrahamsson's super-basic and industrial bench.
• 4 "Mr Bugatti" Chair by François Azambourg for Cappellini — a great suggestion from reader MikeN in the comments of the original post. They're made from crumpled tin molds injected with polyurethane.
• 5 Design Milk | Sifel Chair by Caroline Corbeau — inspired by the Eifel Tower.
