(Note: We have A LOT of flowers this week! How great, since it is THE season. It's also inspiration to get planting, even if you only have a small widow ledge.)
I have so much respect for East 78th Street. They know how to do flowers right. A few weeks ago I showed you pictures of a place on East 78th. They have an enormous vine that goes up the facade. It finally came into bloom - and it is gorgeous.
It's a wysteria vine.... Maybe there is a desperate housewife who lives in this townhouse? The vine goes all the way up to the roof terrace of the adjoining townhouse - crazy! I wonder what arrangement the townhouse owners have...
I also took pictures of a flowering lilac tree which was nearby. Their color was so delicate and so exotic among the oceans of pansies and tulips that wash ashore in Spring weather. So here are pictures of both. enjoy! MN
