It's simple to go out and pick up plastic boxes when you're organizing your home and looking for quick, convenient storage. But there are options that are made of natural materials, too. We like the following ideas because they will help get things in order and look good while doing it:
Wood: Set of 3 Banana Bark Boxes from Crate and Barrel, $40
Feathergrain Bins from The Container Store, $13-$30
Cotton: Cotton canvas bin by Jenna Rose Handmade on Etsy, $78
Cotton Canvas General Storage Box from Amazon, $13
Jute: Soft Jute Baskets from West Elm, $39-$79

Ikea has something similar to the west elm soft baskets - their LIDAN baskets.
Container Store's pretty storage makes good use of open shelves or tops of pieces of furniture in living rooms, offices, bedrooms, or baths. Lidded boxes often can be separated and used as two trays. Plastic boxes, though, are sturdier and waterproof, and work well under a bed or in a closet, garage, shed, or utility room.
Woodlore also sells cedar drawer inserts that can hold a few sweaters. They're beautiful, help organize large drawers, and have the added bonus of keeping moths out of your sweaters when they're in storage.
