As winter's chill creeps in (yes, even here in California), it's tempting to snuggle up under a blanket 'round-the-clock. And if you can snuggle up with someone you love, or with a blanket that tells you, in a secret language, that someone loves you, so much the better.

Last year A Cup Of Jo featured the graceful COATT Morse Code Necklaces, and though I love them, I don't need a necklace...but I always need a blanket! When you grow up in Chicago winters, you never get over the need to hoard bedding and boots. Holly Berry's bright and beautiful blankets are woven in a 250-year old mill in Scotland, and the blocks of vibrant color spell out the word "Love". Her scarves and wraps are made by hand, and — here's the potentially most-exciting part — she takes commissions. You could have a one-of-a-kind work of art made, with a special hidden message just for your beloved. Or for yourself!

White Enamel Flatwa...
wow these are beautiful. too bad spending over $500 dollars on a throw blanket isnt exactly in my budget
ditto. these are gorgeous, though.
Absolutely beautiful and since we had 14 inches of snow last week which downed the power for 3 days they are practical too BUT I learned morse from my geeky brother and no matter how hard I look I cannot find "love" in the pattern to save my soul. [ .-.. / --- / ...- / . ] Before I go nuts could someone please point it out? Thanks!!
That is the kind of thing that drives me crazy too. If you look at this link http://hollyberryprojects.com/page3.htm the blanket is unfolded and it is easier to see the pattern. I think the photo is reversed so "love" runs from right to left.
I love that you all know Morse code!
Hi all, when the blankets are spread out to their full width of 140cm each line of the block Morse-code design spells love three times, like this:
._.. _ _ _ ... _ .
hope that clears things up. ;)
LOVE from Holly Berry. x
