We love our moss. Terramac has created an eco-friendly 3D knit fabric which serves as a growing medium for moss to take root. Made from plant-derived fibers, this material is biodegradable after about 10 years and looks great.
Showcased at the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair, Terramac's 3D knitted and spun fabric filled with moss created a beautiful carpet that ran through one of the exhibits. The pairing of plant-derived plastic with a plant makes this a beautiful combination of green elements. See more photos at Inhabitat.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Why would anyone buy a prefabricated product produced in a wasteful factory when you can create a simple soil mix for moss and top with bark chips or coconut husks before adding the moss?
