Your approach to creating a room for a daughter or for a son may not be very different and there is a significant overlap in products and inspiration for both. But it's still fun to see how other parents have designed, decorated and laid out their boy's room. So let's take a look at your top ten favorites (in no particular order) and let's hear it for the boys!

Isn't Indigo a girl?
Ditto to what 'ngeverett' said.
Oh goodness - you're right! I know a young Indigo (boy) and thought it was cool that this boy's room was a little "soft." Funny! I'll swap it out with the *next* most popular boy's room. Thanks!

This is great... do we get a "most popular girls' rooms" roundup next? :)
these are definitely some of my top faves and where we drew inspiration from when creating our son's big boy room. Dallas' room is my top fave- I actually went to the Alameda Antique Fair after reading about it on here- so much fun!!
I think the Elliot you have listed is also a girl...
I love that 3 of the rooms are from blogs I love(Oscar's, Ashley Ann's boys, and Emmett). All the rooms are great.
I don't get what makes these boy-specific - they all look unisex to me. In fact, I used several of them as inspiration for my daughter's room.
I'm guessing the girl-themed rooms will have a lot of pastels and pretty birdies.
