I'd seen this rack around the web and really liked it. On Saturday I got to see it in person at BKLYN Designs in DUMBO. Designed and made by Brave Space Design from scrap pieces of FSC-Certified Maple with a walnut veneer, they call it the Coat Range because it mimics the Grand Tetons...

There's no doubt about it, this is a really inventive design that probably came from a late night brainwave while looking at the scraps on their cutting room floor.

The Range is 30" wide, has four main "hooks" and can be mounted end to end so that it goes and goes and goes. The surface is treated with a durable Non-Toxic Water Based Finish. The price ($195) may be a bit high for some, but if you Google around you can find it for less. And if are handy, I urge you to go for it and make one out of your own scraps. >> Brave Space Design
