It's summer and the world is full of colors and cheer, so naturally when we saw this new stool from Friends With You and Kid Robot we were completely smitten. We're pretty positive that it will bring all sorts of happiness to any room it's placed in, the only thing holding us back is the price — care to guess?
The Mr. TTT bench from Friends With You is set to retail for $650US tomorrow upon its release. Although that's not completely outrageous for a bench designed by an artist, but somehow it's playful nature feels like it should come with a lower price tag. It's 34" of joy and no matter what, we think it's worth a mention.
We can see it being an awesome accent to a crisp and clean modern space or even one that feels a little funky but has an open and airy feel to it. What's your take on this crazy seat, is it up your alley or something you'll leave to others to fight over?

Price was the only thing holding you back?

...and certainly not worthy of AT - perhaps not even Ohdeedoh.
By comparison, this makes Frank Kozik's Labbit footstool appealing.
Pretty darn cute for a kids room. But $650???
I guessed $500, so in th right (ridiculous) ballpark.
But ugh. I wouldn't have liked that even as a child. (I'd have wanted something beautiful and exotic, possibly with sequins -- like now!)
i think it's cute!
I rather like it for it's cute, but in a modern-ish way and very colorful, but as an accent however to a more grownup modern space where a little levity can go a long way.
But as others have said, the price is rather steep for something like this.
