When Daily Candy fills our inbox with sweet stuff related to our homes (we know how much DC loves jeans and jewels), our eyes widen. The other day we read about Mudroom Laundry, a new pick-up and delivery service in Chicago, and we wondered what our readers would think about the idea.
Daily Candy writes:
Just call their 24-hour hotline and arrange for a time for them to swing by, load their truck, and have your laundry back to you — in 24 hours or less, if you like.
Particular about your Tide/Downy combo or need your pants dry cleaned? No problem; Mudroom tailors their service to meet your individual needs. Plus, they clean rugs, comforters, and jackets if you’re already thinking ahead for fall.
Best of all, your laundry comes back to you neatly folded and tied up with a bow. (And the introductory offer is a deal: 50 pounds for $15.)
What do you all think in AT-land? Is this a service you might use?
(Thanks, Daily Candy!)

I think these guys have gone out of business. Their website is down and phone number is disconnected... Weird. One of their drivers called me and gave me his personal number citing that the "dispatch line had been down a couple weeks." I've had good service from them, but would be weary of using them now if they are still in business.
Anyone know of any other good laundry services?
