What's lunch time like at your house? If you're looking for a way to jazz things up a bit, check your baking drawer.
Today, try serving lunch in a muffin tin. Fill each muffin cup with food cut into bite-sized portions. Many parents swear by this method of serving meals. There is even a Flickr pool dedicated to muffin tin meals. If you do muffin tin lunches in your house, let us know in the comments what types of food you serve.

We do this at our house! My kiddos and their friends love it at snack time. We usually fill up the tray with nuts (if there are no under-3s around), cheese cubes, Cheddar bunnies, and assorted dried fruit. If I have anything like M&Ms or jellybeans in the house, I'll put some in one compartment as a special treat. The kids always eat them first, but then they make short work of the healthier stuff right after.
My son and I do this on Friday nights with a 12 count muffin pan. I fill it with cherry tomatoes, tofu chunks, cheese cubes - anything that makes up a good nutritional mix for dinner and can be speared with a toothpick (somehow everything is more fun to eat that way). Then we sit on a blanket, eat and watch a movie. My son calls it "picnic in the livingroom". He loves it.
I would be careful with what kind of tins you use. Metal utensils and teflon coated tins aren't very good mix.
