Mugo is easy to use with it's plug and play nature, there's no wires or cables required. There's also no software, just plug it in, load it up and you're ready to rock. They work with both Mac and PC and have a built in battery that automatically recharges each time it's plugged back into the computer. The "face" of each player is it's controls (see image 4 above) and there's a headphone jack and lanyard attachment on top of the head. Although it's easy to say they'd be great for kids, they'd also be great for someone looking for a small dose of cuteness and customization in their daily tech gear.
There's a downloadable template to submit your own design for Mugo to consider for production if you've got the skills. You can find more info from their website and tons of photos on Flickr submitted from other users showing their individual creations. A blank DIY model will run you $49.99 and one from the artist series will only set you back $10 more! Match one up with a set of DIY Vinyl Figure Speakers and you've got a party. (Image: Muno)
