This Louisville, Kentucky home where Muhammad Ali grew up in the 1950s is undergoing a restoration and conversion into a museum. A group of boxing fans are taking on the project.

The restoration will include a return to its midcentury pink exterior, and is being completed by 19th Century Restorations, a company that is also restoring Nina Simone's North Carolina home.

The home was purchased by real estate investor and boxing fan Jared Weiss in 2012 for $70,000, which was the same year a historic marker was added to the front yard.
