Many regular household items have a myriad of functions in addition to their intended purpose. We found a list of 101 new uses for everyday items over at RealSimple. Here are just a few…

  • Vinegar can be used for removing sticky prices tags and will also kill weeds between stones paths and sidewalks.
  • Use baking soda to erase crayon, pencil, ink, and furnitures scuffs from painted surfaces.
  • A coffee filter will diffuse the flash on a camera. They're also a great lint-free window cleaner.
  • In addition to using old newspaper to ripen tomatoes, you can line the bottom of the refrigerator vegetable drawer to keep it dry and free of odors.
