The digital music era brought some good thing and bad things; but one thing for sure was the dead of the CD. Enter the smart little devices that gather music from the cloud and let us enjoy it anywhere we want.

Logitech Squeezebox Touch
This is a touchscreen streamer that acts as a wireless bridge between your computer, the cloud and your stereo system. In order to make everything work, you need to install a server onto your PC, which may be a little complicated to the novice, but at the end it's worth the effort for the results. The music sounds great when hooked up to a decent audio system and you can integrate it to a multi-room solution if you want with the Squeezebox app, with any iOS device as the source player.

Sonos ZonePlayer S5
This high end multi-room audio system gets a one box addition that can be added to your stereo system. Using your iPhone as a remote with the free app is very convenient. Despite its size, the sound quality is very good and is well suited for small rooms.

Sooloos, a music streaming system in a glossy design, is out there that not only offers all your music but comes pre-loaded album art as well and you need not to transmit any sort of data. You can get subscriptions for new releases and genre-based packages, if you want to include additional tunes into the Soolos. Equipped with CD ripper, 1TB of storage space and a noiseless cooling system, Soolos comes with the exquisite 17″ touch screen that you can use to control the system.
