This looks like a lamp, but it is actually an insect catcher. In case you think that
hanging a bag of water in your living room would look a bit strange, the
musicpapa insect catcher may be a reasonable alternative. How does this work? Supposedly a special green light that is invisible to humans lures the insects into the trap where they are met by a sticky trap, a high tech flypaper of sorts. It is touted as being an environmentally friendly choice since it does not use electricity or poison. Guess it is just a matter of emptying the sticky cartridge full of unfortunate insects after a period of time.

Anyone know of an actual available product that will attract mosquitoes but not lizards? For some reason, mosquitoes (which come from next door's backyard pond) love our front door area and swarm around there, which attracts lizards. I'd like to minimize the skeeter population so as to reduce the number of bug bites that I get when I use the front door. Bug zappers are ugly and electricity-wasteful, and hanging a strip of fly paper is ugly.
