One of my favorite products from Helsinki's Habitare tradeshow was Muunto's wall-mounted storage system. Designed for storage AND decoration, the modular shapes, accessories and range of colors.
Muunto is based on a system of MDF panels fitted with aluminum grooves at regular intervals. The grooves hold a wide variety of Muunto system accessories — drawers, cabinets, shelves, ledges and worktops. Available in 13 color options and 2 wood veneer options (oak & walnut), Muunto">Muunto is easy to rearrange and create a custom storage solution.
As a bonus, the Muunto">Muunto panels can be installed with hidden wiring, making computer desktops and areas for electronics simple and seamless. There are also special fabric doors for Muunto cabinets and doors that allow for remote-control access to electronic components.
Currently, Muunto">Muunto is available from their showroom in Helsinki, Finland — I hope they will be available from more distributors in the future!

These are really cool. Not sure why this is posted as it's not available anywhere but Finland. What's the point?
It's a lovely system but the weird channels in the walls makes it look like it should be used more for commercial spaces.
Maybe distributors check out this site and someone will pick up the line for distribution in the US.
I love it, however agree those big channels make it look like it would only work in a very modern space or commercial space. Outside of the wall panels, it really makes my tail twitch. :-)

I like it too. Love the range of bold colors and I can see mixing and matching the doors for pops of color and if you go with white panels, the channels would be less noticeable.
