My favorite children's book and why I love it: Put Me In The Zoo
by Robert Lopshire. Every time I read it, I can't stop staring at the little girl's darling yellow dress. It's '60s perfect. And with little boy blue at her side, the children are like a mirror image of my own two kiddos. Maybe that's why I like it so much.
My children's favorite books:
To celebrate Learning at Home month, we've asked some of our favorite bloggers about their favorite children's book, illustrator and more. Read on…
A funny book called The Pop-up Mice of Mr. Brice
keeps my kids entertained with 3-D art and interactive "pull here" tabs. The cute British names and rhyming words are an added bonus. And no one at our house seems to grow tired of the series, If You Give A Mouse a Cookie
A children's book illustrator I adore: H.A. Rey's artwork for Curious George is timeless and classic.
More Dana: Dana recently redid her daughter's bedroom into a colorful stunner. Her Peeps buntings are on our decorating list for next spring. And if you are even the eensiest bit interested in sewing, you must make her blog MADE a frequent stop for inspiration (awe) and help.
