Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: This was a tiny spot of concrete with no character. Over the past two years we have created an oasis for ourselves. This is our "living room" for the Spring, Summer and Fall.
How did you create it? When we bought this house two years ago it was a tiny cement enclosure mainly occupied by a clothesline and trash can. Since then we have removed the clothes line and trash cans and created another summer living room. We painted the walls in a Moroccan themed salmon color and added many terracotta pots with cold hardy plants indigenous to the area. We love the color added by annuals but love a low maintenance space so we planted many evergreens and perennials. We added many wall planters and Mexican talavera pots, lizards and butterflies. Our goal was to create a colorful outdoor space that required minimal maintenance. The mat is a woven plastic mat from the local Vietnamese store. The wall art are talavera ceramics from various sources.

Love it!
I agree with the "Friends" comments, but also, the fuzzy PicturePhone photos bug.
Very cute, I like it.
I love the mirror hanging outside! I wish we had a place to hang something outdoors!
