Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: I needed a place to store my garden tools that would not look like a tool shed because our community has strict guidelines about detached structures. This structure provides storage space for tall tools, including a lawnmower, and shelf space for sprayer and hand tools, while at the same time it is a garden harbor with seats and trellises for roses...

How did you create it? My husband, Jim, built the structure without any formal plans, going only on what I provided in my needs list. He used Western Red Cedar with pressure treated 12 ft by 6x6 posts sunk in concrete joined by galvanized carriage bolts. (He did this as we live in an area that can be hit by tropical storms and hurricanes.) He made the opening wide enough for us to move our large garden cart through without difficulty.
