I love my balcony!!! It feels like an extension of our living/family room...this is where we spend most of our time while at home. So we use both spaces at the same time and this allows us to enjoy nature from the inside.
Most of our neighbors have closed their balcony and joined it to their living room, but we decided to keep it. Here we enjoy our coffee, the company of our friends and family, and the peace and quiet nature provides us as a gift. And since we have summer weather year-round, this an everyday affair :)
Thanks, Angie!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Brilliant. It's like your own little bird cage ; )
So lovely. I'm really glad you didn't enclose it.
looks great! what is that flooring? tile?
One of the best balcony's I've ever seen.
I have been looking for outdoor inspiration and this is great! Might have to use some of your ideas in my little yard:)
OMG, thank you all for your kind words!! I´m so excited to see my balcony featured in my absolute favorite decoration site. I really love my balcony......and we enjoy being out there so much!! Thank you, AT!!!
Oh, and yes, hishouseherhelp, the flooring is ceramic tile.
Lovely, just lovely.
Where is your furniture from? It is just what I am looking for.
I should be living in a warm climate.
This is amazing.
Do you have any information to share about that table? It's great.
Lovely balcony, so friendly, and looks durable.
For a second I thought this was in Calcutta, India, since that type of wrought-iron grille and balconies like these are very common there :). Thanks for making me remember home in a good way!
In Israel many apartments have a balcony-room called a mirpeset that looks very much like this. The windows usually open almost completely, which makes it a balcony, but the walls are painted and plastered, which makes it a room. They're very pleasant.
i love it when you enjoy your home!!I congratulate you!!! its beatiful, Angie me encanta!!! I leave in an apartment in Dominican Republic too,but I dont have the blessing of a balcony, anyway its so good the air that comes inside that we even have to close the windows to cook..its amazing to live in summer all the time!!!
lovely! i'm actually looking for balcony inspiration, as i've just moved to a new apartment with one. our living room is small so it makes the most sense to put some piece of furniture against the sliding door, but i refuse to because i really wanted the balcony to be a continuation of living room space.
i would love if AT did a post on balconies/porches in celebration of summer! :)
its a huge balcony and i know for shure its ikea furniture....right!!!!
Thanks everyone!!!! I do enjoy being in my balcony...in fact I enjoy my whole aparment. I absolutly love it!!! The furniture is from a local store here in the Dominican Republic called Ilumel and the coffee table, I actually designed it myself back in college.
Love it!
