Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: I've got a patio that is painfully hot. This year instead of pretending like I'd actually relax on it I decided to make it into a vegetable container garden. It's been great fun tending it, teaching my nieces about gardening, and watching things grow.

How did you create it?:
I bought a bunch of cheap containers, soil, a couple contain gardening books and dove right in. I started seeds inside. I'm using trellises for peas, beans and zuccs since i have tall fences.
