Name: Glen74

Location: Vancouver

Type of space: Balcony

Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: I live in a new LEED certified building, and I decided to transform my deck from dull grey cement to a mixture of stone, wood, and grass, with some outdoor lighting, as well as a hammock.

How did you create it?:
Assembled it in one day by myself. The result is that I have the nicest balcony in the building, an outdoor extension of my living space - sure beats using the balcony as a storage space!

The elements I used are:
1. Pebbles and soil - 1 large bag of each 10$
2. Recycled Teak from Homehardware - 100$
3. Wild grasses - 100$
4. Lighting - 40$
5. Hammock from Mexico
