Throughout the Alter Eco show, Grenier helps viewer upgrade their lifestyle to something more fashionable and green. So when the headquarters of his own office received LEED Platinum Certification, Greenier enlisted the help of Domino’s contributing editor, Nathan Turner, to decorate the home sustainably and stylishly.

Reclaimed materials are used throughout the headquarters. Much of the furniture has been salvaged, recovered and repurposed. Antique store finds were combined with recyled tiles, fallen tree stump stools and reclaimed wood tables to create a timeworn aesthetic.

12-08-2008AG02.jpgCreative upholstering included a custom sofa made from reclaimed wood and stuffed with soy-based foam, and a tufted hemp bed made with FSC wood, natural and biodegradable fabrics and non-toxic adhesives.

12-08-2008AG04.jpgThe bathroom, clad with Ann Sacks recycled tiles, looks incredibly relaxing, and as Domino stated - very spa-like.
