Materials: Reclaimed wood, waterbased non-VOC Bioshield stain draped with organic cotton gauze.
Price Point: $1,200 - $4,600
"The follow up design to our “Pure White Four Poster Bed”. A room within a room suitable for reading, sleeping, daydreaming … in small or large spaces. Our special touch: LED lights in the headboard in a stellar constellation. The wood for the prototype was entirely reclaimed from a salvage yard and finished with a Bioshield stain..."
"The drape is an organic cotton gauze. This design could be sold in 3 variations: just the platform, the platform with posts and upper frame (which some have suggested could be great for outdoors!), or complete with headboard as shown here."

I love this design! Looks so warm and cozy! Best of luck to you, Franziska and David!
great design, nice work!
W.O.W. this bed is a magical combination of simplicity and opulence--at once both masculine and feminine. i could see meditating in it, reading until dawn, lovely midnight trysts, or snuggling with my 3 year old. it's like a special room of its own where everything comes together as one and all is okay within its veils.
What fun. I love looking at stars. Now we can enjoy them in the city, too.
Lucky sleeper........
Divine!
How sweet. I think you've hit a great market segment at a good price. You should sell a ton of these in Santa Fe.
Kudos for the use of reclaimed materials and Bioshield stains, though I'd love to see a photo of it without the gauze.
Three stars.
What a lovely design, and in addition you can go to sleep with a good conscience. Good luck!
Canopy beds like this are just not my cup of tea. I'm just not a "hang out in bed" kind of person. When I'm up, I'm up. I also hate the idea of giving up so much real estate to a bed. I do, however, like the LED headboard and think there is potential there.
elegant and simple - very clean yet inviting design! Love it!!
That is gorgeous. How can I buy it.
Mmm. It's a bed. I could sleep in it. Or drink tea. Lovely.
I love it! My boyfriend loves it. (That's rare!)
I want it desperately. How can I buy it?

Best wishes and three stars for you from the lonely farm in North-Germany :-)
Cozy and sleek; the perfect modern shift from the old four poster with ruffles. This is very sophisticated and warm....

Thank you all for your very sweet comments and taking the trouble to vote for us!
@thatmeggirl and @Very Miao: Depicted is our prototype that we made ourselves. We have found a professional workshop here in NM that uses sustainable practices and is ready to make the bed for us. Next step would be for them to make a "production" prototype. We haven't been in a position financially to put the money down for that yet but it is no more than the bed would cost in the end anyway - so if you are seriously interested email me (more@luckylukedesign.com) and I will double check on what that would cost and when they could fit it in. The first "My Little Piece of Heaven" Bed could be yours!
