My New Bathroom Makeover: Step One, Mood Board

I'm moving in a week to an apartment I've never seen in person, yikes! Judging by the pixelated, small Craigslist photos the bathroom is vintage and charming. However, It looks drab and in need of a serious makeover. I'll take you through the steps as I makeover my teeny tiny vintage bathroom!

Step 1 is always a mood board for me. Since I've never seen this apartment in person, I'm sure there will be some surprises when it comes to the bathroom. What I do know is that it has old coneycomb tiles, a clawfoot shower tub, a vintage sink and older toilet. It is also the world's most narrow bathroom, so I have to be creative.

Bullet points. I like to bullet out ideas and products I think would be a great addition. Bullet points tend to make my statements shorter and my points more direct, otherwise I tend to ramble. Here are my design ideas for this bathroom:

• Black & white with accents of wood and greenery
• Top half of wall painted deep, dark grey
• Rich wood accents
Stripe Shower Curtain from West Elm
• Fresh plants in white planters lining the window sill (possibly air plants)
• Adding vintage industrial accents such as the Iron Cage Wall Rack from A&G Merch
• Keep it unisex!

Disclaimer: It is important to use caution when picking out an apartment online only. I was very careful when looking at this apartment from another state. The landlord has been very upfront and honest with me. Many photos have been provided as well as a video walkthrough.
