No time for a trip to Switzerland this spring? Let's enjoy it through Caroline's first birthday party. Her mom Vivi describes the fun: My daughter is a spring child and we wanted lots of flowers to celebrate her first year. My husband and I planted lots of bulbs in the garden we bought on our trip to Amsterdam at the end of the year (Tulip Museum).
We were lucky with a wonderful, sunny day to make a beautiful garden party, with champagne, rose wine, flavoured water with strawberries and mint leafs for the children, little colorful 'verrines', cheese breads, and flower orange water muffins. For entertainment the kids had a cute puppet show and made giant soap bubbles in the garden...my favorite!
