Who says it's not easy being green? Tara came up with some great ideas for a green party for her son, many of which you could steal for a St. Patrick's Day fete! Tara shares: Malak's favorite color is green so we kept it simple and let the theme of his party be just that!
For the tablecloth I just used white fabric and then found some green polkadot fabric to make a simple runner.
I had so much fun coming up with green food ideas (that the kids would actually eat). We had: all kinds of green candies, Jello jigglers, pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate that I tinted green and a platter full of green fruits and vegis (apples, grapes, broccoli, celery, cucumber).
For drinks we had limeade and bottled water. The cake was this rainbow cake that I adapted and made green/yellow. It was a hit! I made labels out of scrapbook paper and some inexpensive stickers.
This was a fun, bright way to celebrate our precious boy!
