My Party: Matteo

Portland, OR

Perhaps Tatiana was reading a few months ago when we suggested 101 Uses for Junzo Terada's Magical Menagerie - either way she's certainly proven that they make for excellent party decor! She tells us about her son's terrific party: My son Matteo just turn 3 in march, and we are knew in town so it had to be a small, memorable party! My inspiration always is vintage and retro and for the theme I choose animals by Junzo Terada.

The invitation I designed myself using one of Terada's patterns. For food I made little wrapped croissant sandwiches with a tag that I stamped Matteo's name on. I also added decorations for each treat that I organized on party plates all in blue. The graham cracker and Nutella sandwiches were wrapped as small gifts also using blue.

I printed a photo of Matteo and glued it onto popcorn bags with contact paper. The cake was from a bakery and I traced his name using the patterns that I used for all the decorations. It was lovely to be inspired by those figures and I hope you guys can appreciate too.

Thanks,Tatiana!

We love a good party! We just put together a new "My Party" Submission Form. If you'd like to share the good ideas and photos from your child's celebration with the Ohdeedoh community please submit through the form found right here.
