You can't go wrong with these three "P's." Jodi describes this delightful party: My 4-year-old is absolutely in love with anything Pink and everything Princess. Last year we did a Princess & Knight birthday and this year I wanted to still steer clear of a Disney Princess Party. So we chose the theme Princess and the Pea, with the added flair of Pajamas and Pancakes.
Almost the entire party was a DIY. I love making and creating all of the little details. Lots of sewing and gluing going on for this event!
Each girl came dresses in their pajamas. They had fun at the arts and crafts table, got their fingernails and toes polished and face painted. After gobbling down a yummy pancake breakfast, they all sat down for the Princess and the Pea story and some fun Princess and the Pea games. At the end of the party they enjoyed their cupcakes and each girl was given a handmade party favor bag, filled with goodies.
My daughter still does not do well at other children's parties, a bit anxious. This home party was perfect for her and she loved it!

That is so cute! It's really creative, and I like that you opted for pancakes. I'm sure the kids loved the novelty of it.
What a lovely party!!! What kind of table is that that it's so low?
The gift bags are really cute - they look homemade!
So lovely!!
I like this idea so much I just might steal it!
What did you use for the low tables?
So adorable and creative!! I love it! Magical!
love it! what a sweet party!!!
wow, very nice!
How wonderful! I love the striped tablecloth that looks like a stack of mattresses. Makes me wish I had a little girl!
Hi everyone!
Thanks to Ohdeedoh for featuring the party and thanks to everyone for the sweet and kind comments.
The tables were Costco 6 foot tables. We put two of them together, legs up (closed) and we placed them on top of clear tub/plastic storage containers. They are the large kind that you get at Target or the Container Store. They were just the right height for toddlers sitting on their tushies or their knees.
The kids had a great time and I loved every minute of creating her special day!
