Zohreh is rightly proud of her DIY bedding which is the focal point of the vibrant room she put together for her daughter Athena: Dissatisfied by what I was seeing in the stores, I went to my local fabric store for inspiration. While I was there I saw the fabric that would become the dust ruffle. Then I found more fabric and just sort of put colors together in the aisle. They looked okay to me!
So I bought up the fabrics and decided to sew the baby's bedding. My MIL and I got to sewing and made all of the bed linens for less than $100! I continued to gather up things we thought were cute and, voila: nursery! The yellow on the walls is a bit saturated on my computer monitor, but it isn't as obnoxious in person, I promise!
I am open to suggestions (I am still looking for the perfect shelves for her icons and dolls) so send me a holla if you have some ideas!
