EJ's a little bit rock and a little bit country which works just wonderfully in her owly/music room. Her mom Krissy tells us more: Early on we knew we wanted a modern, bright and unique space for our little lady. We fell for an orange and brown color scheme with pops of green- no pastels for our kid!
We opted to decorate with posters from a few of our favorite bands. Finding a budget-friendly crib and chair that could accommodate our style as well as a very petite momma proved to be the biggest challenge of all but in the end we found the perfect pieces.

Having grown up in Syracuse ("Da 'Cuse") myself, I have to say, when I think of home, there are two things that come to mind... Orange AND Metal. And here they are, in a kid's room, looking great. Love it!
The crib is Olivia from babymod (sold at walmart.com) It's very short and affordable! The storage unit, dresser, rug and chair are from ikea and the baskets in the shelves are from landofnod.com.

LOVE THIS ROOM!!! I guess because it is ALMOST identical to my daughter's nursery. Same furniture, white curtains Poang chair and Ikea furniture and orange and green color scheme, only reversed. The accent wall is that bright green and the orange is the accent color. I knew I was having a girl, but hate pastels.

flacourtney- I think the owl bag you are talking about is a storage bin, I believe from giggle. I love the bright colors of the room, very happy they aren't pastel!
