My Room: Hazel Ann

Classic grey thoroughly modernized with pops of fuchsia, pink and chartreuse. Sarah shares: Hazel's nursery is one of my favorite rooms in our home. The room is painted a calming blue gray that eminates a peaceful vibe... and bursts of colour add a bit of playfulness.

The room is a combination of DIY projects, Etsy finds, hand-me-downs, and splurges. I was going for a simplistic, modern look... mixing in her big sister's classic furniture.

My favorite elements:
• DIY under $10 butterfly mobile crafted with paper, fishline, beads and an embroidery hoop
• a Lack bookshelf turned window bench topped with a DIY cushion made from a camping matress
