Henry & Holly must be two busy bees in this beautiful, creative playroom. Rachel shares: We decided to create a playroom out of the otherwise useless 6 by 8 foot "office" next to the dining room; it is the brightest room in the house and probably the most colorful now!
Henry (6) and Holly (2) can now keep their toys on display and organized (or Mom can keep it organized) and spend hours playing Lego and baking cookies in the kitchen my husband made for them.
Thanks Rachel; lucky kids! Readers, catch up with Rachel on Rook Blog.

This is a wonderful play room! The red and the blue goes together SO well! Love it!!!
this room is super cute and has a fantastic amount of contrast without being overwhelming. Nice to see a room from London, Ontario! I'm living in St. Thomas this summer (20 minutes south of London) and I'm from Hamilton.
I'm also happy to see a room from London, Ontario make it on to one of my favorite websites! I'm from Dorchester! Great job on the room! I know my kids would love to have a room like that!
Fantastic room. Where is the kitchen set from?
Love the color scheme. Can you share the details on the rug? Thanks!
Thanks guys! My husband made the kitchen using blueprints from knock off wood http://www.ana-white.com/ , and customized it for the kids.
Wonderful!
I just adore the colors! Thanks for the fantastic inspiration!
Where did you get your decals?
Just beautiful! And great use of color!
My oldest is named Henry, too - and I love the idea of naming a girl Holly :) anyway, the room looks great! We only had space for the Ikea playkitchen next to the Expedit (in white) in a corner of the living room, i love your playkitchen!
I wish I could say the rug was a little more authentic; both it and the decals were Homesense finds. Not sure if I would want something expensive in there because there are often snacks at that little table ;)
I'm a Rachel, too, and have also got a Henry!
We have a similarly sized room and are planning to turn it into a playroom. Can you tell us what paint color you've used?
Rachel-wish I could but it was a mistint! colour was from Benjamin Moore
I love this playroom! But how do you keep the kids from pulling out all of the stuff from all of those boxes at once and creating a huge mess? At my house, the "clean up before you get anything else out" rule does apply, but I'd still have to keep those boxes out of reach.
So fun! I would love to see the rest of this house on AT.
Wonderful space - what lucky kids!
I love the little rocker! Where is that from?
This is fantastic, love all the color pops and attention to details! Even I would play in here for hours!

Beautiful! Where did you get the clear storage bins that fit perfectly in the expedit cubbies? Are they ikea too?
I would love to know where did you get the clear storage bins that fit perfectly in the expedit cubbies?
Love this room! What a great, colourful space :)
