We always love a beautiful room, but when it's infused with a child's distinct personality, we love it even more. Chantale tells us a little about her daughter Keira's room: Although my daughter's room is your typical pink room, take a closer look and you will see a reflection of her personality. From the wall stickers (Nouvelles Images) we put up together (NYC and flowers!) to the cut-out coloured characters stuck on the wall, my daughter knew what she wanted.

She is a very girly girl who loves flowers, pink and sparkles with a punch of attitude thrown in (notice all the Astro Boy and Girl prints & cushion). There are a lot of DIY projects in the room including the fabric backed library, cushions and pillow cases. I also love supporting artists and buying hand-made items and you'll see some of that scattered around this room including a portrait created by the wonderful artist/illustrator Merrilee aka Tuesday Mourning and a Sophie and Lili doll. Storage was solved by using stacking Semikolon boxes which also add a punch of colour to the room! The best part of this room is that it's cozy and inviting, typical yet surprising. A perfect reflection of who my daughter is right now!

Thanks Chantale! You can catch up with Chantale and Keira at The Adventures of Skinny Minny Kiki.
