This is Ashley's third child, but she hasn't run out of motivation and inspiration for his room. She shares: I worked with a very small budget so I pulled things together from all over our home and used a lot of the same decor from our girls' nursery who are now 2 and 3 and share a room.

If I purchased something new for his room I wanted it to be handmade or environmentally friendly as much as possible. My only purchase not to follow this rule are the curtains which are actually shower curtains from Target.

I made a few of the framed art pieces with construction paper, most of the others were purchased from our local thrift store. Leo's dresser was purchased from the thrift store for $40 and we painted it blue and added some new knobs made from rope. His rocking chair was $12 from the same thrift store and we paint it a dark brown and reupholstered the seat.

Thanks Ashley! Readers, say hello on her blog, Geez Louise.
