We love this bright color palette and how everything in the room "goes" without being matchy-matchy. Leitia shares: I have been following Ohdeedoh since before I even got pregnant, wide-eyed admiring all the nurseries (and other fun.) I was most inspired by Norah's Nursery for a little girl and the "not so girly shared room" for a boy. When we went for the first ultrasound and the technician said she could not tell the sex, I could not stand to wait another minute to start on the nursery so went the gender neutral route combining my girl and boy ideas together.
I also found the awesome zoo animal shower curtain from Target, using it as a huge source of inspiration for the overall feel of the room. We later found out it was a boy, and I could not resist adding in little guy elements.
Almost everything in the room was made by us or re-purposed by us, making this a fun, bonding experience for my husband and I while being super budget friendly. We used a lot of spray paint, and did many DIY projects-which has helped me gain overall confidence in DIY projects for the future. My favorite projects are the monster prints created by my husband and the mobile and window garland made by me. It is definitely our favorite and happiest room in the house! Cannot wait to add our sweet little boy!
Thanks Leitia! I'm sure Levi, aka "Baby Big Foot" will love it! Readers, visit Leitia on her blog Mrs. McHugh and be sure to check out more of Levi's room.

This is wonderful! I love the elephant hamper, and using wall art to cover the electrical box was genius. I'm impressed by how many of the things were DIY--great job! You have one lucky baby!
This is so lovely! The colors are just right—bright and cheerful but not overpoweringly so. Well done. You should sell those mobiles! :)
